New Paint

In the summer of 2010 I bought a hard top from a guy parting out a Cruiser in St Peters, Missouri. My Cruiser was beige and the hard top was mustard color, so it looked so ugly I didn’t drive it much in 2010.

In the summer of 2011 I had the Cruiser painted baby blue. I remember a stock powder blue color on the LandCruisers back in the 1970s and I thought this color would be close, but it is a little bit brighter than the stock color. I was not very happy with the Maaco Paint, or their customer service, so I won’t go back to them. But, it did make the Cruiser look a lot better and it should help keep the rust from progressing so quickly. Here is what the Cruiser looked like after it was paianted. I think it looks a lot better.
