Early LandCruiser Photos

My wife Marilyn was cleaning out the photos on her phone the other day and she found the following photos of our LandCruiser from when we first bought it in 2007.

We bought the LandCruiser off of E-Bay. It was located in Onalaska, Wisconsin. The owner told me the only thing he used it for was to tow his boat to the river and put it in and pull it out of the water. He said that other than that it sat in his driveway for the rest of the year. These two photos above were the photos in the E-Bay add. It has changed a lot in the last 12 years. It is no longer Beige, it is now Sky Blue, and I discarded the horrible soft top and added a hard top from another model year. Tires have been swapped out and it is undergoing a major body-off restoration. The engine was in good shape when I bought the LandCruiser, but the body was very rusty.

This next photo is after we got it to our house and put the hard top on it. It looks a lot better, but it still needed a lot of work. It looks better in this photo than it did in real life.
